Termos de serviço
1. Acceptance of Terms
These terms apply when you use OnlineGameVerse ("we," "our," or "us")—the website onlinegameverse.com and the games and features we offer. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
If you're using the site on behalf of a company or other organization, you're saying you have the right to bind them to these terms. We may change these terms from time to time; we'll update the "Last updated" date when we do. If you keep using the site after that, you're agreeing to the new version. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the site.
2. Description of Service
We run a site where you can play free games in your browser—no downloads, no sign-up required. You can browse by category, search, and (if you choose) create an account to save progress and preferences. Games work on desktop, tablet, and phone. We add new games and improve the site over time and offer support when things go wrong.
We can change, pause, or stop parts of the service when we need to. We do our best to keep things running but can't promise the site will always be up or bug-free. The service is provided "as is" and "as available." You're responsible for having a device and connection that can use it.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
Accounts are optional—you can play everything without one. If you do create an account, use accurate info (including a valid email), keep your password secure, and don't share it. You're responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person unless we say otherwise. If you're under 18, get a parent or guardian's okay; under 13, we need verifiable parental consent before you create an account.
3.2 Account Termination
You can close your account anytime by emailing us at [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaking these terms, abuse, illegal activity, harming the site or other users, IP infringement, long inactivity, or when the law requires it. If we terminate your account, don't create a new one without our permission.
4. Acceptable Use
Use the site for lawful stuff only. Don't break the law, hack our systems, disrupt the service, run bots or scrapers without permission, reverse-engineer our games, spread malware, harass anyone, infringe copyright or other IP, create fake or multiple accounts to abuse the site, spam, impersonate others, or use the site for commercial purposes without our permission. If you do, we may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, and take other action including reporting to authorities.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Content
The site, games, text, graphics, logos, and code belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other IP laws. Our name and logo are ours—don't use them without permission. Don't copy, redistribute, or modify our games or content, remove our notices, frame our site, or use our stuff commercially without a license.
5.2 User Content
You own what you post (reviews, comments, feedback, etc.). By posting it here, you give us permission to use, display, and share it in connection with the site and our business (including promotion). You must have the right to grant that permission, and your content can't infringe anyone else's rights. We can remove content that breaks these terms or our guidelines.
5.3 Third-Party Content
Some content (including games) comes from third parties and stays their property. If you think something on our site infringes your IP, see our DMCA Policy for how to report it. We respond to valid claims and may remove or disable content we believe infringes. We terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
You agree not to:
- Infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights when using our services
- Use third-party content without proper authorization or license
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from third-party content
- Claim ownership of or rights to third-party content
6. Privacy and Data Protection
We care about your privacy. How we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
By using the site, you agree to how we handle your information as described in the Privacy Policy. That includes: collecting info you give us and what we get when you use the site; using it to run and improve the site, personalize your experience, and show ads (we may show AdSense ads); sharing it with service providers and ad partners when we say so; using cookies and similar tech as described in our Privacy and Cookie policies; and transferring data where needed to run the service.
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure. You use our services at your own risk.
You have rights over your personal information (access, correction, deletion, etc.) as described in our Privacy Policy. To use those rights, contact us as set out there. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, get in touch—we'll try to sort it out. You may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
7.1 Service Availability and Modifications
We try to keep the site up and running, but we can't promise it'll always be available, error-free, or secure. Downtime can happen for maintenance, updates, technical glitches, or things outside our control.
We can change, pause, or shut down any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. That includes removing games, changing features, or doing maintenance. We're not obliged to keep any particular game or feature, and we can change or remove content when we need to.
We don't guarantee the site will work on your device or do everything you want. We may change how games work or how the site looks without notice. We'll try to give a heads-up for big changes when we can, but we're not required to.
7.2 Game Performance and Technical Issues
How well games run depends on your device, browser, and internet. We're not responsible for technical problems caused by those things.
We don't guarantee that games will load on every device, run at a certain speed, be bug-free, or work with every browser or extension. You're responsible for having a device and connection that can use the site. We recommend a modern browser and decent connection. If something breaks, we'll try to help, but we can't fix every issue, especially if it's down to your setup.
7.3 Third-Party Links and Content
We sometimes link to other sites or services we don't own or control. Those links are for your convenience—we're not responsible for what's on those sites or how they handle your data.
When you leave our site or use a third-party service, their terms and privacy policy apply, not ours. We don't endorse or take responsibility for third-party sites, content, or ads. If you see AdSense or other ads on our pages, your dealings with advertisers are between you and them. Problems with third-party content or services? Contact them directly.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONLINEGAMEVERSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
If your use of the site or a breach of these Terms leads to claims or costs against us, you agree to cover those claims and costs (including our reasonable legal fees).
10. Advertising and Monetization
The site is free. We pay for it with ads and partnerships, so you may see ads (including AdSense) while you're here.
We may show banner and other display ads from ad networks like Google AdSense or from advertisers. We sometimes use your browsing and preferences to show ads that might be relevant to you—you can adjust this in your browser or ad settings. We're not responsible for what advertisers say or do; their content and practices are theirs. If you click an ad and deal with an advertiser, that's between you and them. You can use ad blockers, but ads help keep the site free, and blocking them might affect how some things work.
We try to keep ads from getting in the way of playing and we don't allow deceptive or harmful ads. We can't control every ad or guarantee you'll like them. More on how we use your info for ads is in our Privacy and Cookie policies.
11. Age Restrictions
The site is for everyone, but we recommend that kids under 13 use it with a parent or guardian. If you're under 18, get a parent's okay. We don't knowingly collect personal info from under-13s without parental consent.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by U.S. law (federal and state), no matter where you are. We don't promise the site is legal or available everywhere—if it's not where you are, don't use it.
Disputes about these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules, not in court. One arbitrator, U.S. location, and their decision is final. You give up the right to a jury trial and to join a class action. Either side can still go to court for injunctions (e.g. to protect IP) or use small claims court where that applies.
If the arbitration part is found unenforceable, the rest of this section still applies. If the whole arbitration part is unenforceable, disputes go to U.S. courts and you agree to that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
We can change these Terms when we need to—for new features, legal updates, or clarity. When we do, we'll put the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Big changes (e.g. to your rights or how we handle user content) we'll try to call out clearly, and we may notify you by email or a notice on the site when we have a way to reach you.
If you keep using the site after we post changes, you're agreeing to the new Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the site (and you can close your account). Questions about a change? Email [email protected]. If a particular change is later found invalid, the rest of the Terms still apply.
14. Severability
If a court says one part of these Terms isn't enforceable, the rest still applies.
15. Miscellaneous Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms plus our Privacy and Cookie policies are the full agreement between you and us about using the site. They replace any earlier agreements or discussions about the same stuff.
15.2 Waiver
If we don't enforce something, we're not giving up the right to enforce it later. Any waiver has to be in writing from us.
15.3 Assignment
You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to someone else without our written okay. We can transfer ours (e.g. if we're acquired or sell the business).
15.4 Relationship
Nothing here makes you our partner, employee, or agent. You're just a user.
15.5 Force Majeure
We're not liable for delays or failures caused by things outside our control—e.g. natural disasters, war, outages, strikes, or other events we couldn't reasonably prevent.
15.6 Contact Information
Questions about these Terms? Get in touch. For legal stuff, include "Legal Inquiry" in the subject line so we can route it quickly. We usually reply within 48 hours; trickier stuff may take longer.
